We took the time to upgrade the forums yesterday on tech.in876.com. The changelog was so great to read. Notable things addressed in this update was forum load speed, and quite alot of aesthetics withthe layout of the data. The administrative functions also got a complete revamp. stopin and talk tech with us :). On a sad note tough I over wrote the custom theme we made so i know i’m gonna get an earful from the co-administrator, but we do have a backup so it’ll be restored by monday.

Its a long awaited feature. We’ve noticed that a few people have resubmited events when they made a mistake in the initial submission or if something changes and so on. Now you can edit an event if you added it but only if your a registered user. See.. There are benefits to registering. So now you dont have to worry about feeding the wrong information or adding a whole new listing.. just make a simple edit and your done.

Once you added an event you’ll see a small edit icon on the top right of the event details page. One click and your own to editing your event.

I know I know. the horror right. With the amount of projects the in876 Team seem to have You guys are tired of signing up. We anticipated that. Therefore we put in the work, and what fun it was, to enable one registration to any of the in876 sites to be a registeration for all of the sites.

Therefore tom registered to Tech.in876.com then tom can just head over to Events.in876.com and login with no problems. Simply Beautiful. Hope you all enjoy it.

So far only two sites have been enabled with the universal login feature. that is. Events.in876.com and Tech.in876.com Its just a matter of time though before deployment to the entire network.

Dont worry about it. It’ll be back. we’re working on something that We’re sure you’ll all love. It’ll kill a few repeatitive functions regarding the users in our projects. Hope you like it.

This functionality is now available on events.in876.com. On the Today cell which is highlighted in orange you’ll notice a few icons on the top. Hover over them and you’ll see the text information for their respective functions or purpose. Click on the icon of choice. Weather, Movie info or Click the little mail within the Today cell / box and enter your name, your email and the email of up to 6 of your friends.

So.. the idleness of the developers has led to each party having the ability to post their own video promotion material. (which will of course have to be approved by us :). The promo video will be accessible to the general public via a small icon under your parties title on the jamaican event guide. Enjoy the new feature ;).

Currently there’s just a promotional video taken with my silly cellphone so excuse the ugly quality. However I’m sure when your uploading your own video promotion for your event it’ll be as best quality as possible eh eh eh..  Click the little tv icon under the event title and watch the magic unfold

New mastheads are into rotation for the various categories on the site. Lemme know what you think of em. we hope you like the little house keeping thats going on. now the site has more eye candy than you can throw Crayola crayons at.

Most of you may have received a shocking sensation to your web vision sensory glad (made up) when you pointed your browser to events.in876.com. I for one love the new look.. Its a very hot and cool look at the same time. Lemme know what you think. Prefer the old look or you feeling the freshness of version 1.52974.1337 :).
